Ground filling

Ground filling is the work of digging the soil from the highest areas to filling the lowest areas with the soil that was taken from the highest areas with the aim to flatten the surface of that site (predetermined design surface, taking into account the surface drainage slope).

There are usually two types of leveling:

– To perform controlling the level code of the surface before leveling without concerning about volume of soil.

– To level according to the volume of soil, including the following cases: digging volume is equal to filling volume, digging volume is larger than filling volume, or digging volume is less than filling volume.
